![]() Steve provided status updates and started earlier than expected. They had a backlog of work, thus couldn’t start immediately (I saw this as a positive as I always wonder about the company that can start a large job that day!). Likewise, he was very open to us using another vendor for carpeting (as we turned it from a screened-in porch to a multi-season room with the Eze-Breeze windows he suggested). I really liked having someone work with us on the design vs. Steve provided us with different options and explained the pros/cons to each option (to include price differences). Steve was very upfront on what they expected to encounter and communicated potential issues that may arise during a remodel (one never truly knows what is behind a wall!). ![]() From the moment Steve Croxton arrived onsite, he was able to diagnose issues with the original build and make recommendations (he was the only contractor to do so – the others simply asked what I wanted and bid the job on those specifications). We received several bids from various contractors. This created a large amount of water damage. The contractor that previously built the porch didn’t use pressure treated wood nor did he take precautions to limit the amount of water that would flow onto the porch (it’s a slab and ended up being lower than our pool). ![]() “My apologies for the long review, but I think Metro Wood Works (MWW) deserves it! We had a need for our screened-in porch to be remodeled.
